Head of Learning and Engagement
Location: Salford, Greater Manchester.
Salary: GBP35,000-GBP40,000 per annum dependent upon experience plus staff benefits.
Contract: Full time, 37.5 hours per week.
The Lowry is an internationally acclaimed cultural landmark situated at the heart of MediaCityUK, one of the world's most exciting culture and media destinations.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Learning and Engagement to manage and lead The Lowry's Learning and Engagement team (L&E) in the successful delivery of the Learning & Engagement strategy, connecting with The Lowry's wider artistic objectives and programmes, working with and for a diverse range of children, young people and communities.
You will be responsible for leading the delivery of The Lowry's youth and community work across Salford and the North West ensuring that ensuring that all activities, projects and programmes delivered by the Learning & Engagement team are high quality, accessible, diverse and appropriate in their reach.
You will have excellent communication and networking skills and a background in the arts sector. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the educational, employment and social care needs of communities, young people and 'harder to reach' groups and will have experience of managing teams of people.
