Finance Systems Administrator

The spot salary for this post is £32,950 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all of the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.

Accent Group is a successful national housing association owning over 20,000 homes with a turnover of £100m. Our residents’ homes and services are managed from regional offices in Middlesbrough, Burnley, Camberley and Peterborough, with the central office located in Shipley, West Yorkshire.

You will be joining Accent at an exciting time. Our new 3-year Corporate Strategy ‘With you for your Journey’ sets out an ambitious and exciting agenda for the future that will establish Accent Group as a sector leading organisation.

We are on an exciting journey at Accent to improve our services. We have plans to build more affordable homes and to do this we will maximise the value of our financial strength.

You will help support our Finance Team acting as system administrator for our core Finance System which is Unit4 Business Word On! (formerly known as Agresso). Your role is critical to ensuring that purchasing, financials, fixed assets, payroll and expenses and financial reporting runs smoothly.

You will report directly to our experienced Systems Accountant who will give you great direction and support. You will be responsible for setting up the system and day-to-day administration and maintenance.

Ideally you will have:

·Experience in finance system administration and support, preferably on Unit4 Business World On!

·Good understanding of financial accounting principles and processes and/or qualified at AAT level

·Experience of first / second line ICT support using diagnostics, issue resolution, system advice and coaching / training users.

·Experience in coordinating and supporting upgrades and new releases

·Able to work, without supervision, with focus on attention to detail.
