The School is set in 50 acres of stunning woodland and grounds, and presents a marvellous working environment. They have an exciting opportunity available for a Year 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team.
Key Responsibilities/duties of a Teaching Assistant to include:-
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the Teaching Assistant will be a friendly and outgoing person. You will need confidence, energy, ideas, be able to build rapport with young children. Good communication with parents is key for the role together with the desire to be part of an amazing team and work for one of the leading independent schools in Sussex. You will need to live within a commutable distance to Handcross.
Key experience essential for the role of Teaching Assistant:-

- To ensure a high standard of care and education for all children, so that they are looked after in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.
- To support children's learning under the supervision of the class teacher.
- To feedback on a daily basis to the class teacher as an aid to planning and reviewing each child's progress and planning their future learning.
- To maintain high levels of communication with parents.
- To follow all Handcross Park policies and procedures.
- To take an active role in our After School provision.
