Working within the Single Point of Access for adult health and social care; you will be part of a 24/7 service responding to telephone calls and completing assessments (both on the telephone and face to face).
The job is challenging and you will be dealing with a diverse range of callers and situations – in other words you will need to be at your best working under pressure and be able to respond effectively, calmly and professionally during difficult situations.
It goes without saying that you will need to demonstrate to us that you have the ability to use initiative and are prepared to take responsibility for making decisions.
Ideally you will have a background in customer care or health and social care but, for the right person, training will be provided.
