STEM Programme Manager
Part-time, 18.5 hrs p/wk | Fixed Term | £11,501-£16,509 P/A (Pro rata of £23,001-£33,018)
City College Plymouth is recruiting a STEM Programme Manager to develop the Built Environment higher education sector of the Technology, Marine and Renewables faculty, ensuring that there is an increase in engagement of a diverse range of ethnicities, women and disabled people into civil engineering and construction, with a strong focus on engaging and enthusing participants into accessing higher level skills.
The focus of this role will be to support employer engagement events/workshops to develop new skills provision and employer focussed HE programmes addressing skills gaps, whilst supporting learner engagement events/activities to support existing HE students to achieve their qualifications and to encourage L3 students to consider HE. The STEM Programme Manager will also design and deliver taster sessions/master classes/bite sized modules suitable for employers and individuals unwilling/unable to commit to full HE programmes, and deliver training that will support professional development and enable individuals to progress within their existing organisation or apply for alternative employment.They need to be enthusiastic, innovatively creative and committed to the continuing development of students.
