If you are an experienced IT Technician looking for a fresh challenge then we have just the opportunity for you. We are looking for an experienced and professional technician to support our school users in the role of a Senior IT Support Technician at various schools within the Trust.
The ideal candidate will be:
- An excellent communicator
- A team player
- Flexible and adaptable in your approach to work
- Have experience of working in both primary and secondary school settings
With strong customer service skills you will have a proven track record in IT support. An understanding of IT in education would be an advantage however it is not essential. Any experience of setting up or maintaining a Microsoft SharePoint site would be of interest.
Your initial focus will be at Sir Bernard Lovell Academy and the Meadows Primary School, but as further schools join the Trust we anticipate you may take on day to day responsibility for helping to support some of them. You will support everything from end user devices (e.g. workstations, laptops, tablets, MFDs, Apple TVs and touchscreens) through to assisting with network infrastructure and server maintenance at the primary schools.
