Cover Supervisor - Thinking about teaching?
GBP16,626 - GBP26,295 per annum
(37 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for qualified, dedicated and experienced individuals to join our school as Cover Supervisors and to facilitate the highest possible standards of learning and achievement for our students from September 2018. Our Cover Supervisors will be expected to deliver pre-prepared work to classes of students in the absence of the class teacher. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing the learning and behaviour of the students in their care. The Cover Supervisors will also be required to provide other supervisory and administrative duties, including providing in-class support as Teaching Assistants. There may be an opportunity for us to support and train outstanding appointments, who have a 2:2 degree or better, to become good teachers.
