IMAGINE is a mental health charity.  We are well known for providing a socially inclusive service called ‘Mainstream’, which has achieved national recognition.


Based in London Borough of Sutton – 37.5 hrs per week            

Salary: £26,260 (including London weighting)

Imagine’s Wellbeing Service in Sutton is integrated with the South West London and St George’s NHS Trust. The service aims to progress people with mental health or wellbeing needs into social and vocational activities using groups, workshops, and one to one support. The range of people we aim to engage includes young people, carers, older people, BME communities and Hard to Reach Groups

We are looking for a Wellbeing Team Leader with experience of linking socially excluded people into opportunities and providing short term practical support. A working knowledge of community opportunities and facilities, NHS pathways for people experiencing mental ill health will strengthen your application. You will need to:

  • Demonstrate strong leadership and service development skills. 
  • Support a team of Wellbeing Navigators, Wellbeing Assistant and volunteers in delivering a wellbeing service with a difference
  • Develop and maintain internal (within Imagine, NHS Trust and partners) relationships and external stakeholders to access opportunities; services to help promote and retain wellbeing
  • Excellent IT skills to manage both NHS and Imagine online systems

The scope for creativity is excellent; networking and collaborating with existing providers is essential, and the ability to work in a person-centred way and meet targets is vital.

You will be committed to your own professional and personal development and you must be able to demonstrate and provide evidence of your skills, abilities and experience.
