We are currently seeking Electricians to join our team in Yeovil. The main purpose of the role is to ensure that properties are repaired and maintained to a high standard by completing repairs, improvements and testing in accordance with health and safety legislation and working practices. Within this role your main responsibilities will include completing repairs and testing to ensure that properties are maintained to a high standard; carrying out electrical installation and/or servicing and maintenance work in a safe and efficient manner and setting out jobs from drawings and specifications. You’ll also be expected to ensure that safe systems of work are adhered to, complete vehicle checks and effectively manage van stock and materials.

The successful candidates will have worked within a similar role previously, will be apprentice trained (or equivalent) and hold a relevant qualification. You should demonstrate practical knowledge and competence working as an Electrician in the current edition of BS:7671 and inspection, testing and commissioning of installations. Highly organised, you’ll be able to plan and prioritise effectively and you’ll have an understanding of the importance of adhering to health and safety requirements. A full driving licence is essential as is the ability to travel between sites and take a flexible approach to working hours.
