Our client is one of the largest further and higher education colleges in the country, offering over 1000 courses to over 26,000 students every year.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Manager to join the Quality Improvement and Performance Department at Harrogate College. The post holder will develop and maintain effective relationships with senior managers, strategic leadership teams, peers and delivery teams. This role will drive quality improvement strategies in the curriculum at each stage of the student learning experience to increase success and progression.   This is a part time role to cover 22 hours per week.

You must be able to conduct and lead a range of observations of teaching, learning and assessment activities of all delivery models and quality audits to identify improvement priorities on and off site. Previous experience of providing relevant and high-quality coaching is required for this post.

Knowledge of curriculum changes, government policy and impact on curriculum specialists is critical for this post. You must ensure that all curriculum areas are ever ready for external inspections and reviews by ensuring that internal quality assurance and enhancement processes are aligned with external expectations.

The successful candidate will be qualified to degree level and have a Post Graduate Teaching or Education Qualification Certificate in Education. Level 4/5 Leadership or Management qualification is required or willingness to work towards this.
