Job Role: HGV Mechanic
Location: Winchester, Hampshire
Contract Type: Full Time / Permanent
Financial Package: GBP34,210 basic annual salary.
Benefits Package: VAN & FUEL, PAID TRAVELLING, 25 days annual holiday + Bank Holidays, strong pension above national minimum, discount high street vouchers, medical cover, child care vouchers + much more.
Shift Pattern: DAY SHIFT starting at 07:00 (Monday - Friday)
My client, a well established specialist repairer of Heavy Good Vehicles is actively seeking to employ a skilled, experienced and qualified HGV Mechanic to work in their state of the art workshop facility in the Winchester area.
The successful HGV Mechanic will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance to include Hydraulic, Electrical and Mechanical service and repair.
General duties include Vehicle Inspections, Defect Repairs, Servicing, MOT preparations.
Essential Requirements:
The successful applicant will be an HGV Mechanic and have have a strong background in commercial vehicle servicing and repair.
The successful HGV Mechanic will also have full industry recognised qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQ Level Three)
Beneficial experience:
An understanding of Hydraulics would be beneficial for the role but is not essential as training in this area can be offered to the successful applicant.
The hours of work for this exciting HGV Mechanic role will be 07:00 - 16:30 Monday - Friday.
Substantial overtime will be available during the week and over the weekend for those that are looking to increase their earnings.
The successful HGV Mechanic can expect to earn GBP34,210 as a basic annual salary, overtime will be available is you wish to increase your annual earnings.
