Head of Network Security Engineering

* Product engineering leadership and co-ordination, management of development, and testing including hardware and software product definition and standards * Network Solution Architecture and solution blueprint design and definition * Subject Matter Expertise in the network security technology areas covered * Providing operational support during incidents where specialist knowledge is required through escalation. * Providing support to Problem Management activities when needed * Ensure product and solutions are designed with and aligned with architecture principles, business requirements, firm-wide compliance/audit requirements, the end client's standards and regulatory requirements. * Assisting and advising Product Management as necessary with tasks including Requirements Mgmt., Roadmap and Service Definition etc. Product and services portfolio includes Palo Alto and firewall and intrusion management technologies, Bluecoat proxy technology, cloud proxy services, F5 Load Balancing products, Network Access Control, Cisco ACS and switching technology., * At least 8 years' experience in technical Engineering in Data Network and Network Security products. * Strong knowledge of Palo Alto, Juniper, Fortinet, F5 security, and Zscaler products and services * A good understanding of all key technologies in Networks Security including LAN, Firewall, Intrusion Management, Load balancer and web proxy technologies. * Industry recognized qualifications would be an advantage (e.g. CISSP, CCIE) * Strong operational or consultancy experience * Very strong technical skills in the supported areas * Self-motivated, action and results-oriented data network specialist with strong problem-solving-skills; ability to push things forward, establish facts and draw valid conclusions * Self-contained, proactive and resilient, good interactive skills, good team worker * Commitment to deliver highest quality results * Management / team leadership skills running small to medium teams. * Ability to engage with and provide clear communication with senior management * Business level written and spoken English
