Guildford Cathedral wishes to appoint a Lead Choir Chaperone with effect from 1 September 2018 to assist with the proper safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults in Guildford Cathedral Choir in line with the Cathedral’s safeguarding policy.
The main task is taking responsibility for the safety of choristers and young people under 18 by providing a chaperoning service for all choirs’ activities when young people are present either at Guildford Cathedral, Lanesborough School or other sites where the Cathedral Choir is required to be for rehearsals, services, concerts or broadcasts, both at home and abroad.
The salary is £7,582.58 per annum, working hours will be in accordance with the choir schedule during term time only.
