Excellent opportunity for a highly organised accounts assistant, to provide efficient support to our finance team.
About Us:
Since 1978 we have grown to become one of the UK's leading aviation interior specialists.
Our plant facilities covering 40,000 square feet, employing over 45 members of highly trained staff, constant investment in the latest technology and machinery puts us ahead of the competition.
The Accounts Assistant opportunity:
Reporting to the finance manager, the role-holder will take day to day responsibility for:
+ Placing general purchase orders with suppliers. Maintaining general purchase order process
+ Matching invoices to purchase orders and goods received notes
+ Maintaining program of regular maintenance and organise maintenance of infrastructure and machinery
+ Overseeing and review supplier contracts, e.g. phones, power, computers
+ Maintaining stock of stationery and general supplies
+ Scanning and filing paperwork
General office support, to include greeting visitors, preparing refreshments for them, manning the phone
Candidate requirements:
+ Pro-active, confident, self-motivated with good time management and able to work as part of a small team
+ Highly organised/disciplined & high level of accuracy
+ Computer literate, in particular Microsoft Office package. Knowledge of Sage 50 would be an advantage
+ Flexible, positive and responsive approach to daily duties
+ Ability to plan and organise workload to achieve deadlines & targets
+ Good interpersonal skills
