Customer Service Agent

Customer Service role based in Hertford, offering a starting salary of £17,000

This role would ideally suit someone who is looking for:

• A call centre role with no cold calling and minimal complaint handling;
• Advance notice of shifts, finishing no later than 9.15pm;

We are an established one-of-a-kind company based in Hertford, Hertfordshire.  We manage the table bookings and customer service for some of the UK's top restaurants.  With a team in excess of 60 and 7 years’ experience under our belt, we are a highly regarded provider of outsourced telephony services to the industry.

Our friendly team is trained to offer excellent customer service, helping our clients to keep their restaurants full.  

The Customer Service role involves:

• Answering calls in an efficient and friendly manner
• Checking availability and accurately booking tables in such a way to optimise restaurant occupancy
• Proposing solutions to customers when their chosen requirements are not available.
• Answering customer service queries and addressing potential issues

   

Our Customer Service agents have a proactive nature and are driven to deliver high standards of service over the telephone.  We are delighted to offer our customer service agents the opportunity to grow and develop with us through internal promotions.  

You will need to have a strong work ethic and good literacy skills, as well as experience in dealing with people in a professional telephone manner.  Flexibility to work a variety of planned shift patterns is important to us.   Our offices are open between 9am and 9pm, 7 days a week.  Our rota is published well in advance so you  can plan your free time.  You will be working 40 hours per week and will need to be available to work some mornings, evenings and weekends.
