We are recruiting Factory Operatives for the UK's largest independently owned producer of prime and recycled polymers. Due to continual growth we are seeking Manufacturing Operatives to work across various shifts – days, nights, weekend days and weekend nights. Ideally you will be a factory operative from a manufacturing or logistics background, eager for career progression and love working within a friendly team where full training will be given. A forklift licence would be advantageous, although our client will train or refresh your outdated licence.

• Self-motivated and target driven
• Thrive on working on own initiative
• Good professional communication skills
• Experience working within manufacturing or logistics
• Good attention to detail
• Good timekeeping
• A good standard of written and oral English

Key Responsibilities – manufacturing operatives:

• To work in a manner that ensures the safety of you and all others in the work area, including use of correct PPE (personal protective equipment)
• Ensure all tasks are carried out to the Safe Systems of Work provided by management
• Notify your supervisor of any H&S risks, using the incident report forms available
• To advise Team Leader promptly of any quality concerns
• Complete all paperwork in a legible and readable manner
• Take responsibility for the quality of product produced
