The Company: Our client is a high end pump and mixer manufacturer that provides products and solutions of the highest quality. Due to continued expansion, they currently have an excellent opportunity for a Project & Technical Engineer to join the team based in Whitchurch, Shropshire.
The Role: As a Project & Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing projects of varying sizes, overseeing purchases for clients through, from beginning to end.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
• Evaluation of tenders
• Pump and mixer selection
• Associated product selection
• Assistance in pricing of the afore mentioned items
• Quotations and technical follow up calls
• The formulation of project folders for management of said projects
• Overseeing selected site installation along with the procurement of goods
The Candidate: To be considered for the position of Project & Technical Engineer you must have a mechanical engineering background and a reasonable knowledge of three phase electricity would be an advantage. You must also be computer literate and have a reasonable standard of education. Previous experience in a 'hands-on' background would be advantageous but isn't essential.
Essential Candidate Criteria:
• Mechanical engineering background
• Reasonable knowledge of three phase electricity
• Computer literate
• Reasonable standard of education
