Marketing Communications Manager
I have a fantastic opportunity with Health Education England for a Marketing Communications Manager based in Bristol. Initial contract will be through to mid September with view to being extended thereafter.
This is a key regional role within the HEE nationwide communications team, responsible for delivering communications activity across internal, external and stakeholder audiences.
You will be responsible for delivering national communications policy, practice and priorities as part of a team within one of HEE's regions: North; South; London and South East; or Midlands and East. This will involve implementing communications strategy and developing plans and activities which support national priorities, regional priorities and the work of local teams across the region.
You will provide communications advice to senior leaders and the wider HEE teams in the region, requiring the post holder to forge strong working relationships with a range of colleagues within the organisation and across local partners.
You will manage a range of channels, some provided through national systems, others are locally delivered. These include digital (website and Intranet) and social media as well as the more traditional written materials, briefings, newsletters, corporate documents etc.
Responsible to the Senior Communications Manager, who works across the region to provide coordination and strategic advice, the post will be responsible for the day-to-day communications delivery within regional and local teams as required.
You will also take on a lead role for the delivery of agreed programme communications in the region and join flexible teams as required to deliver national communications projects.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Comprehensive knowledge of project principles, techniques and tools e. Prince 2 and Agile for digital projects.
- Maintain confidentiality and implement data protection
- Experience of monitoring budgets and business planning processes
- Experience and understanding of evaluating and measuring performance
- Experience of drafting briefing papers and correspondence at a Senior Management Team level
- Proven experience of managing brand and visual identity
Demonstrable experience of communications programme co-ordination and delivery
