Lecturer A – Engineering
Salary: £21,784 - £23,096 per annum plus excellent benefits
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week
Location: Exeter – Technology Centre
Contract: Permanent
This is an exciting opportunity to teach and support learners both in the classroom and workshop. We are looking for candidates who have experience of teaching and training across a range of Engineering related subjects and age groups. You will be joining a high performing faculty that is proactive in working with employers and the local community to deliver quality teaching, training and assessment.
The ideal candidate will be dynamic, a good communicator and able to deliver outstanding training. Experience teaching and working in a support role would be an advantage.
This role is a mixture of technical support, instructing and lecturing. If you have excellent knowledge of technical, vocational subjects and a passion for sharing this with learners we would like to hear from you.
Successful applicants are likely to have had experience of working with a range of learners with varied educational backgrounds, and must be committed to outstanding teaching and learning.
Some basic maintenance and preparation of equipment is involved. The ideal candidate should feel confident when using and inducting students in a broad range of equipment.
You will have substantial industry experience or hold a relevant qualification and have up to date knowledge of industry practice. You either need to hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one.
