An opportunity has arisen for someone to become part of a fast growing highly successful group that was recently featured in the Sunday Time Fast Track 100 of leading UK Companies. The Group manages over 20m customer transactions a month and is investing £m in developing its digital capability to drive future growth and industry leading customer experience. The Group operates in Consumer Financial Services.

With that in mind they are now looking for a Product Manager to join them based in their Stevenage offices although there is some flexibility to work from other locations.  

Responsible for the strategy, roadmap and the features of the product set, the purpose of this role is to deliver the business plan, which will include getting very close to pricing and understanding the revenues they are making from different customer segments. Working with colleagues in marketing and operations to provide cross functional leadership is crucial, as well as communicating the product roadmap.

Managing pricing across all 70+ currencies, running tests and working with marketing on promotional activity, you will offer analytics support for the company, including customer analysis (repeat purchase, demographics etc.), business performance analytics (volume, value, margin, sales by type etc.), channel dynamics (flow through, drop rates). Working alongside the Head of Travel Money you will provide competitive analysis – pricing analysis, patterns of activity, competitive product analysis and environmental analytics – what is going on in the travel industry, forecasting of performance, trends and potential opportunities.

With excellent product management skills, to include understanding how to make the business plan ‘happen’, the importance of delivering financial performance and the basics of a web-based business, you will have experience of creating dashboards and visualising data in excel and PowerPoint. With strong analytical skills and a willingness to improve, you will be able to draw conclusions and recommendations from data and suggest next steps and work as member of a small team, presenting information simply and reporting outputs to senior colleagues.
