Part of the Operations Division, the Exam Processing Group plays a key role by handling, managing and coordinating data, processes and systems - from setting up system and reference data, producing admin materials, managing school entries and candidate information, ensuring that the millions of pieces of candidate work are marked, managing quality assurance activity, and getting the right marks to enable the issue of results on time to all of our schools and candidates.
The post holder will report to the Exam Processing Manager to provide leadership and direction to the team as a whole. You will be encouraged to develop your skills and career in a dynamic, supportive team that engages in and takes responsibility for a range of activities from the setup of products & timetables to the processing of entries and marks for all our assessment products

What you'll be doing
You will be responsible for the leadership of the team and management of day to day tasks to ensure accurate and timely delivery of exams and results. You will use your insight and drive to develop your team members’ professional capabilities and contribute to the collaborative and progressive team culture.
You will review and create key performance indicators to ensure operational schedules and quality standards are met or improved, promoting continuous improvement in both procedural and performance levels.
You will be required to Deputise for the Exam Processing Manager in their absence and working closely with the Exam Processing manager to form flexible, dynamic teams. You will also be required to make operational decisions using your initiative where no policy exists, and to decide when to refer matters to the Exam Processing Manager.
Key Accountabilities
- Effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and teams across Operations and within Cambridge International and the wider Cambridge Assessment Group.
- Provides input and advice on the design of key product, system and procedural developments and ensuring that all changes are fully tested prior to production implementation.
- Develop key performance indicators and using those indicators to feedback to the team, address performance issues, make changes and monitor performance improvements
What we're looking for

Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent experience. You should also have experience of identifying opportunities for process, system and organisational changes, and experience of implementing such changes. You will have excellent customer and stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills and will be able to influence colleagues and decision makers effectively. You will be energetic, enthusiastic, methodical, customer focussed, able to work to tight deadlines; and also have the ability to add business value through creative approaches and problem solving.
