Global electronics manufacturer with an urgent need for a new General Manager to come in and take the business to the next level. You will either be the lead in a SME / Business Unit OR second in command in a larger organisation.
Either way, you must have exposure to P&L and other financial measures (ready to take full accountability in this role) and will have responsibility for delivering sustained growth, operational improvements and driving innovations. Customer engagement is a key part of this role and a proven track record in this area is essential.
You will have effective leadership qualities and interpersonal skills, understanding your team with a proven ability to maximise motivation and performance. You must be committed to excellence and combine strategic thinking with drive to achieve business results. You must have experience of driving behavioural and cultural change.
You will have experience of working within an Industrial measuring, sensors, scales, testing equipment or motors manufacturing environment but skills and operational experience is more important. You will however be from a manufacturing / engineering background and used to dealing with complex products and customers. You must also work with bespoke rather than mass produced, generalist products.
