Repair Centre Operative

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £15000.00.

Job Elements: -

·To ensure stock is clean and available for engineers to complete repairs in line with customer demand.

·Distribution and collection of units to and from engineer locations.

·Distribution of spare components to engineer locations.

·Pre-emptive highlighting of component shortages and requirements to component controller.

·Final physical quality check of repaired unit before passing to good stock.

·Accurate logging of work completed and unit movements on the company’s system.

The ideal candidate will have:

·Computer literacy skills

·Experience of cleaning PC hardware and peripheral equipment

·Experience of working with small PC components

·Able to follow clear instructions

·Ability to meet physical demands of position

·Can cope with an environment of change

·Logical and methodical approach

·Enthusiastic and self-motivated

·Flexible and willing to work beyond usual business hours

·Sets high standards for quality
