Hardware Engineer
Holt Executive are actively assisting a market-leading avionics company who are looking for an experienced Hardware Engineer to join them. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a technologically diverse business which markets their offerings to specialist customers.
The right Hardware Engineer will have experience of designing analogue circuitry for EMC and lightning protection as well as designing digital interface circuitry (UART, SPI/I2C etc) and micro-processor circuitry.
Key Responsibilities for the Hardware Engineer:
* Interpreting Systems requirements into clear hardware design requirements.
* Documenting design activities and adhering to project and company standards.
* Designing, analysing, commissioning and verifying analogue and digital circuits to cost and reliability targets.
* Planning and managing hardware qualification activities.
* Specifying, designing and commissioning equipment test solutions.
* Generate, perform and validate verification plans, test plans, analysis, test case designs and other specific tests.
Locations: Fareham, Hampshire
Desirable Knowledge and Skills required for Programme Manager
* A Bachelors degree in Electronics or equivalent.
* Electronic hardware design experience.
* Specific experience in the following;
* Design of Micro-Processor circuitry.
* Design of Digital Interface Circuitry (UART, SPI/I2C, DDR2/DDR3, MIPI)
* Design for EMC and lightning protection.
* Drive and manage PCB layout through sub-contract.
* Awareness of DO254 and DO160
* Experience of design for manufacture.
* Experience with hardware data bus standards ( RS422/232, ARINC429, MIPI, DDR2/3
