Commercial Manager (Electronics)
Commercial Manager required for a marine electronics company based in Portsmouth. Fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing organisation. Salary up to GBP65,000 plus 10% employee pension contribution and 30 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
Overview of responsibilities for the Commercial Manager:
The role has two main objectives.
• Lead the Sales and Marketing activities of the Company, generating new sales leads, developing an existing customer base, negotiating development and business contracts. Leading to a broader customer base, increased sales and profitability.
• General Management - HR, Financial, P&L management in a commercial environment are considered essential.
Commercial Manager application requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years' experience leading a sales and marketing and engineering teams in a technical product environment.
• You will need to be at least Degree qualified typically in Electronics / Marketing / Business
• Proven track record in Man Management and Business Development
Experience of working within technical environments specifically electronic.
• Enthusiastic about engineering
An understanding of Marine Electronics, Hydrographic survey or related industries would be preferred. Additionally, the candidate should be creative and driven to find new opportunities for existing products as well as contributing to the definition of new products.
