Project Manager (IHMS) Integrated Housing Management System

£47,150 per annum

Full time, 37 hours per week

Two year fixed term contract  

Based: Barnstaple, North Devon

An opportunity has arisen for an outstanding Project Manager to lead and successfully deliver the Integrated Housing Management System as part of our Corporate Plan and “Digital by 2020” strategy. You take a lead role on the digital transformation in the workplace and oversee a substantial investment in technology to deliver our vision “working together to create communities where people want to live”.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, your prime responsibilities will range from Developing Project Plans to delivering our ambitious business requirements, project milestones and key project outputs over a two-year phased implementation period. Additionally, you will be accountable for managing risk, costs and delivering change throughout this challenging but exciting period of development. This is a major initiative for North Devon Homes and our goal is to place us at the very forefront of leading “best practice” Digital Strategy.

To succeed, you will be degree qualified, or equivalent, and have a sound knowledge of current IT business systems applications. Proven Project Management skills, using Prince2 or similar, and experience of migrating complex data systems within in a multi-organisational environment is key, as is the ability to demonstrate excellent communications skills, be highly “customer focused” and have a “can do” attitude that inspires and stimulates colleagues to achieve this quantum change in our digital philosophy.
