Direct Debits Administrator

Role description and what we're looking for:

Within the role you will play a pivotal part in ensuring that our customers are serviced to the highest standard by ensuring all incoming payments received are posted to accounts or refunds sent to customers in a timely manner.

You will work within in one of our teams completing a range of activities such as posting customer payments to accounts, dealing with various types of payment exceptions such as refer to drawer cheques, direct debit amendments and validation of credit balances and refunds to customers

It is essential that you have experience of helping customers as a key aspect of your role will involve providing support to the teams by answering the telephone and taking customer queries.

You will be required to develop and maintain excellent relationships with both our customers and across teams; as such we are looking for people with excellent communication skills with a demonstrable track record of building and maintaining relationships.

Ideally you will come from a customer service background where you have dealt with customer queries and maintained customer information systems such as SAP by accurate data entry.

You should be able to work on your initiative and enjoy taking ownership of work. Additionally you should have commercial awareness and be able to recognize factors that may affect both our business and our customers.

We are seeking someone who can work on their own or as part of a team and is keen to develop themselves. You will need to have good attention to detail and analytical skills with a good customer service ethic.
