Our Clien a leading importer and exporter of homeware and giftware and require a fluent German speaker to join our European Sales Administration team.
Role:
* Actively visiting new/existing sales lead in Germany. This will entail travelling weekly to Germany.
* Dealing with administration and confirmation of sales orders once back in the office.
* Process orders correctly and ensure that the customers' requirements are met.
* Communicating directly with customers via email and telephone to deal with queries and issues.
* Working at tradeshows and at showrooms in the UK, France and Germany several times a year, serving customers, taking orders and answering questions.
* Working with freight agents and warehouse staff to organise the logistics of collections and deliveries.
* Assisting with other ad hoc tasks and supporting other team members
Requirements:
* Fluent in German (any other languages would be an advantage)
* Experience in administration and in dealing with customers.
* An organised multi-tasker who is able to prioritise their workload and work under pressure in a very busy team.
* As the role involves working directly with customers (both on the telephone and in person) it is essential that the candidate is confident and friendly with a good telephone manner.
* Experience using Excel.
Salary will be based according to experience
GBP23,000 to GBP30,000
+ commission based on achieving sales targets
