My client, a well-established Infrastructure and Environmental Consultancy, is looking to expand their Environmental Planning division by sourcing an Environmental Consultant to join their Birmingham team. This business have a strong presence within the environmental and engineering market throughout the UK and offer a wealth of environmental services, from environmental impact assessment and ecology to acoustics and air quality.
About You
The successful candidate will:
* Have a strong academic background with a relevant Degree and/or Masters qualification
* Hold a minimum of two years' experience working within the consultancy sector
* Demonstrate experience of managing the EIA process
* Hold a breadth of environmental experience
* Have experience working on a range of projects, ideally within the residential, mixed use and infrastructure sectors
* Be confident managing projects of varying scales
* Have strong IT skills, ideally with experience using GIS and AutoCAD
* Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
About the Role
Working as an Environmental Consultant, you will join the existing environment team in Birmingham and will be expected to contribute to a range of environmental impact assessment (EIA) and environmental projects across sectors including mixed use, residential and infrastructure. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget, making sure that client demands are met effectively.
