27.5 hours per week, term time only
Specific Responsibilities
To create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all students.
To enforce the necessary sanctions for maintaining good order.
To administer basic first aid as required.
To keep daily records of first aid administered, behaviour and sanctions employed, together with any other relevant records that may be needed.
To provide pastoral care, guidance and routine advice to students as appropriate.
To contribute to planning and the provision of a stimulating range of age appropriate activities and ensuring the club is well-resourced and creatively set up.
Where necessary and appropriate to lead games and activities with the students.
To alert members of the SLT of any concerns regarding an individual child or group of children.
Main Expectations of the role
To contribute to the whole Academy?s planning activities.
To maintain appropriate records and to provide relevant accurate and up-to-date information to the Headteacher.
To help to implement Academy procedures and to adhere to these.
To follow agreed policies for communications in the Academy.
To communicate effectively with the parents/carers of students as appropriate.
To co-operate and communicate with teaching and support staff.
To play a full part in the life of the Academy?s community, to support its vision and ethos and to be a good role model for all students.
To attend CPD sessions when necessary or appropriate
