Our facilities management team provides solutions to a wide range of both private and public sector clients. Working together to deliver outstanding results for customers and communities, our work covers all areas of facilities services from project management and compliance to assets, estates and energy management.

You'll have a broad range of responsibilities, including;

* Deliver on time and within budget specific project management tasks as delegated by the New Works / Lifecycle Manager in support of Lifecycle Works, Change Requests and Change Notice

* Delivery of the end to end capital works projects including preparation of scope, co-ordination of design requirements, engagement with designers and Client, tendering, selection of sub-contractors, setting to work, project management of works programme, commissioning & handover for Client acceptance

* Supervision of staff and sub-contractors undertaking contract deliverables in accordance with the Skanska polices for delivery of Capital Works

* Ensure that where appropriate the CDM regulations are applied to Capital Works

* Ensure that all Temporary Works are planned implemented in accordance with the relevant Skanska policies and procedures

* Ensure that all tasks and works that require a Permit to Work (PTW) are planned and co-ordinated with all parties

We're looking for:

* HNC or equivalent in an electrical/mechanical/building services engineering discipline

* Experience in a similar role of complex building services in a military/critical environment including electrical distribution private networks up to 11KV and associated large standby generators and UPS systems, large air conditioning plant and mechanical ventilation, BMS and large gas fired multiple boiler installations

The successful candidate will have been continually resident in the UK for the past 5 years in order to pass the required security clearance on site
