My client are a Melton Mowbray based luxury spa hotel who are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Commis Chef to join them on a full time, permanent basis, working 39 hours per week on a rota basis, paying up to GBP15,500 (depending on experience) plus approx GBP800 p/year in tips paid quarterly.
Shifts are:
6am - 3pm
7am - 4pm
8am - 5pm
12pm - 9pm
1pm - 10pm
NO SPLIT SHIFTS
You will be working in a professional hotel environment to produce creative and nutritious food for the hotel guests. You'll be given support and guidance in order to improve your skills in all sections of the kitchen, and your duties will include:
- Producing the highest standard of international cuisine for lunch and/or evening meals
- Contributing to menu and recipe development
- Liaising with Senior Chefs regarding ordering
- Dealing with any special dietary requirements (training will be provided)
In order to be considered for the role you must be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, and you will need to be a driver with access to your own vehicle in order to access the hotel.
