Commercial Trainer ? Construction Professional Studies/Civil Engineering

Salary: ?25,856 - ?33,752 per annum
Who are we looking for?
An opportunity has arisen for a Tutor/Assessor to join our team to teach and assess across our Higher Apprenticeship provision in Construction and Civil Engineering. You will teach, assess and monitor students both in the work place and College engaged in technical competencies across our higher education programmes. The role will support and facilitate student learning and liaise closely with Course Leaders and Management and will require teaching, assessing and IQA of students during both theoretical and practical situations, projects and assignments.?
You will hold an appropriate teaching qualification, an assessor Award; an Internal Verifier Award is also desirable, or the willingness to work towards these within the first year. You will have up to date Industry experience and have the desire to pass on the skills and knowledge to a diverse client group.
The post requires visits to students and employers, therefore a driving licence and access to transport is essential. You will have working knowledge of professional construction practices and site management and knowledge of NVQ systems and operations. An appropriate CSCS certification would be desirable.
