You'll have a broad range of responsibilities, including;
* Responsibility for the implementation of the site wide Safe System of Work (SSoW) in accordance with MoD JSP 375 Volume
* Full participation in the duty AP on-call service to ensure a fast response to emergencies - when on call must be within 60 minutes travel of the site at all times
* Carrying out Authorised Persons duties as required for the engineering services on site including electrical systems, mechanical systems, petroleum installations, working at height and confined spaces
* Managing and controlling budgets within delegated obligations and in accordance with personal objectives
We're looking for:
* A minimum of HNC or equivalent in an electrical/mechanical engineering discipline, with experience in a similar role.
* Experience of complex electrical distribution private networks up to 11KV and associated large standby generator and UPS systems, large air conditioning plant, BMS and complex fire and security systems
* Recent work experience in a MOD environment or equivalent and compliance with Safe Systems of Work (JSP 375, Vol 3)
The successful candidate will have been continually resident in the UK for the past 5 years in order to pass the required security clearance on site
