Position: Day Support Worker / Driver
Location: Cardiff
Contract type: Part Time, Permanent
Hours: 21 per week
Salary: GBP9,115.80 per annum (actual)
Closing date: 5pm on Thursday 28th June
Interview date: Week Commencing Monday 9th July
About the role:
We are currently recruiting a part time Day Support Worker/ Driver to join our dedicated Day Support Team in Cardiff. As part of a team, you will provide person-centred support to people affected by dementia ensuring that everyone attending experiences an exemplary service and is enabled and supported to participate in activities which best meet their emotional and physical needs.
About you:
We would like to hear from you if you are passionate about supporting and empowering people with dementia and have experience of dementia either personally or professionally. Experience of caring for others is important as is excellent communication and people skills. We offer full induction and training in this specialist area of work. The successful candidate will have a rewarding job and will be helping to make a considerable difference to a number of families affected by dementia.
We need someone with a D1 category on their driving license.
