Quality Assurance
We are proud to represent a National client in their search for a Quality
Assurance Manager. The successful candidate will be joining their team in
their central production facility.
Quality Assurance Responsibilities:
- Weekly GMP audits
- Implementation and maintenance of high standards around Food Safety
procedures.
- Train the team on food safety, H&S and food specifications and ensure
they follow standards at all times
- Review HACCP when required
- Ensure the site is fully compliant with Food safety guidelines
- Ensure the team adheres to daily production plans
- Maintain the site 'audit ready'
- Assist in regular administration and management of micro sample
submissions, probe calibration and swabbing
- Ensure raw materials/products deliveries are assessed to the standards
required.
- Assist in collecting data for site KPI's
- Address any complaints in a professional manner with a solution
oriented focus
Quality Assurance Person Specification:
- Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Ideally extensive FMCG industry experience in a similar role.
- Food Hygiene and HACCP Level 3.
- Employee management/relations experience ability to engage/motivate
subordinates and operational teams
- Auditing and problem solving skills with an eye for detail
- Capable of working on own initiative & within a team environment
- Ability to meet demanding deadlines from customers and company
