Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a company based in Uckfield who are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team within the Office Administration team.
This is an on-going temporary position with a view to permanent employment.
This will be a varied position so the successful candidate must be flexible and willing to support a team.
Office hours Monday to Friday - 9 am to 5:30 pm
Main responsibilities:
•Completing day to day accounts for the local office
•Supporting the accounts team in Ireland
•Credit control
•Sales ledger and purchase ledger
•Answering the phone and directing calls
•Assisting the warehouse manager with orders and invoices
•Completing and updating Excel spreadsheets
•Invoicing using Sage
•Filing
•General office duties
Experience needed:
•Experience within Sage is preferred
•Previous experience in a similar role is essential
•Experience within sales ledger
•Previous customer service experience, via the telephone
•Strong administration skills
•Working knowledge of Excel
Salary GBP22K - GBP25K DOE
