Part-time Permanent Stores Person

Our clients, based in Ely are seeking a part-time stores administrator / stores controller to join their expanding team.

Candidates will need to be happy with manual handling, heavy lifting and using a forklift truck - full training and licence financed by the employer.

Duties will include:

* To provide administrative support to the Spares and Service department supporting the delivery process from enquiry through to invoicing
* Process orders received including the entering of details on the internal system and the raising stock request or purchase orders as appropriate
* Ensure that service Engineer's time sheets are checked and processed in a timely manner
* Prepare and submit quotations for standard spare parts
* Receive and action telephone enquiries for spares and service work
* Ensure that Invoices are raised once the orders are complete and the service report has been submitted to the client
* Maintain Dynamics 365 and Exchequer systems relevant to the above including updating of customer records
* Work closely with the Stores Administrator to ensure the smooth and expedient execution of spare parts orders and assist with stocktaking.
* Some manual handling will be required
* Complete administration duties as required by Service Delivery Team Leader
* Any other tasks the Service Delivery Team Leader may reasonably request from time to time
* To perform duties in accordance with all relevant legislation in particular the Health and Safety at Work Act

Candidates will have strong IT skills including use of MS Office, data entry skills and ability to multitask between office admin duties and stores handling duties.
