Finance Business Analyst

Change Recruitment are currently recruiting an excellent senior Finance Business Analyst position with our client a leading financial services organisation based in Edinburgh.

This will ideally suit an experience Accountant with a proven background in working in projects, understand business analysis concepts and methodologies as well as demonstrating strong technical data skills.

Reporting to a Programme Manager, key responsibilities/experience require:
- Scope and rationalising of a number of finance applications i.e. General Ledger; Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting; Finance Reporting; Tax & Accounts Production and Transaction processing
- Knowledge of finance operating models and systems
- Strong knowledge of the project lifecycle i.e. definition, scoping, elicitation, solution design, support of delivery, UAT, business readiness and production proving
- Technical skills - data integration, migration, interface specifications and data analysis

Ideally you will have worked across various sites, possibly globally, in multi-skilled teams, consultants and vendors.

You will be able show and deliver in a flexible working environment i.e. working outside a strict role definition and work effectively and collaboratively with others (varying levels) in the project team. The role will also demand excellent communication skills to work successfully with various stakeholders and to have an influential voice across the project team.

This is an initial 6 month contract, with a prospect of extension.

Day rate: GBP450-500 a day
