We are currently recruiting for a Production Chemist to work for a fantastic organisation based in Wellingborough.

You will be required to carry out all production duties, prioritising the production and testing, quality control checks on chemical reagents, and water sample and corrosion analysis. Working on a job rotation basis within the production team.

The duties: Mixing chemicals from pre-defined formulations Carrying out quality control checks on chemicals and chemical reagents Packing off liquid reagent bottles (65ml & 30ml sizes) Labeling and building standard and customised water testing kits Analysing water samples and corrosion coupons Work efficiently, safely and speedily in all production areas, to ensure production requirements are met and to meet customer needs quickly and accurately Ensure all work is done to correct quality standards, completed on time and without error, and with the minimum of supervision and monitoring Work flexibly and to the highest standards of performance in all areas, as required by the needs of customers and production management Maintain accurate records for stock control and production monitoring purposes Carry out other warehouse and production duties

The Candidate Learn new work and train to ensure quality and health and safety standards are met BSc in Chemistry Good strong computer skills Good time management Dextrous Able to work as part of a team Common sense, practical approach Attention to detail Keen to achieve accuracy and reliability
