Conveyancing Assistant

As a Conveyancing Assistant you will be working closely with their Conveyancers to manage any queries from their customers, drafting the relevant documents and ensuring compliance to enable housing transactions to go through smoothly.
What you will do
As a Conveyancing Assistant in their Conveyancing team your day to day duties will be:
?? Acting as first point of contact for enquiries, providing excellent customer service to new and repeat clients
?? File opening and accompanying procedures, to include production of confirmation of instruction letters, updating central records and the entering of entities and capacities on each new client/matter file.
?? Providing an efficient and effective service to the Conveyancers
?? Ensuring all appropriate quality service and compliance for all matters are met

To assist the Conveyancers with all aspects of plot purchase procedures, excluding post completion, to include but not limited to:
?? Taking instructions
?? Liaison with clients and developers
?? Responding to voicemail messages and correspondence in a prompt manner
?? Providing accurate weekly updates
?? Ensuring that target exchange and completion dates are met
?? Ensuring that completion statements, including figures, are correct prior to completion
?? Liaising with the Sales Unit with regard to related sale or part exchange transactions
?? To work with the Team Leader, others within the wider Real Estate Group and liaison with developers
?? To ensure appropriate quality service and compliance for all matters in accordance with agreed standard policies
?? To consistently meet all KPI and targets and any other broader
?? objectives as agreed on a quarterly and annual basis as part of the Team plans

?? Proven technical knowledge and track record of Conveyancing procedures
?? A highly flexible approach and the capability to work well and flourish within a team environment
?? Excellent all round communication skills including the capability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
?? Ability to collaborate and work effectively with other colleagues internally, both within the wider team and across all practice areas.
