Gardners is one of the world's largest supplier of books to the retail, library ,school and internet trade.
Working in a department of over 30 staff based in Eastbourne you will be part of a team sourcing books throughout the UK and overseas from both large and small suppliers.
The position involves administering, purchasing and controlling stock as well as liaising closely with publishers, buyers and other departments within the business.
The successful applicant will need to be computer literate with experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, as well as have the ability to communicate well with suppliers and other staff be it by email or spoken.
Ideally, but not essential,you will have a background from some form of the following skill sets. Retail work , office administration , recently left university or an applicable transferable skill that could be used in this busy environment.
Full training will be given. Salary will be dependent on experience.
