Part of the Department of Business and Management, the Human Resource Management subject group is a thriving community of academics, currently comprising of 26 members with a vacancy for an Associate Professor in Human Resource Management to join the team.

We are looking for a committed academic who can make a strong contribution primarily in research, to include taking a leading role in the development of our vibrant and growing research group, Human Resources, Work and Employment (HRWE). In addition the post holder will be expected to make a positive contribution to teaching and learning, and building effective and beneficial external relationships.

You should ideally hold a PhD in a relevant subject, and preferably a postgraduate higher education teaching qualification. You should be a recognised authority in your field and an active contributor to the academic community; demonstrating subject excellence with a strong and growing publication record plus evidence of developing academic collaborations nationally and/or internationally. In addition you should be able to demonstrate successful and innovative practice in the design and delivery of teaching.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to our range of highly rated undergraduate and postgraduate offerings, including our CIPD accredited programmes - the BA (Hons) in Business and HRM, the MSc in HRM and MSc in International HRM. You should share our passion for research and education as well as our desire to influence practice.
