SEND Teaching Assistant

27 Hours

Pay Grade 15 – point 9-13

The children, staff and governors at St Vigor and St John Church School are looking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant from 3^rd September 2018 to work 27hrs a week over 5 days, term-time only. The post is fixed term for one year in the first instance.

We are looking for:

• An enthusiastic, creative and caring person to assist in providing individual support for a child with social, emotional and behavioural needs in our reception class
• An individual with previous experience of working with young children (preferably with children with SEND)

• Someone with resilience, empathy and determination
• An individual with the ability to work collaboratively with all members of the school team and wider community
