The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) is an environment watchdog, charged with protecting and improving our country’s unique and beautiful environment for the benefit of everyone who lives here.
We are looking for a customer focused and organised individual to join the Registry Department within the Permitting Services Team. Registry is a national department with approximately 20 staff based across three offices: Aberdeen, Dingwall and North Lanarkshire.
The focus of your role will be processing environmental applications, issuing statutory documentation, maintaining both electronic and paper public registers and ensuring that these duties are carried out in accordance with legislative and procedural requirements.
You will be a reliable and self-motivated individual with a positive attitude to work and the ability to work and communicate within a team.
Experience in administration with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Databases is essential. Experience of working with a document management system would be advantageous.
Excellent customer service skills are required for this role. Accuracy and attention to detail is paramount, as is the ability to work within strict deadlines.
On the job training will be provided and a positive approach is required for this.
