C / C++ Software / Embedded Firmware Engineer (Electronics & Software Designers)
Abingdon
£40,000 - £50,000 subject to experience
We are looking for a C / C++ Embedded Engineer with significant experience in industrial embedded systems.
This opportunity will see you join a small team to continue design and development of systems for a wide range of applications. You should be comfortable working with C / C++ code for non RTOS bare metal embedded systems along with the ability to debug and work at the hardware level to bring up new untested systems, typically using ARM Cortex processors. Experience of C# for windows GUI applications and Linux application development would also be useful additional skills, along with formal software framework testing experience and Altium CAD knowledge.
You should be excited by technology, be inquisitive and embrace working in a small company where the projects are varied in nature and always interesting. The team works well together, is friendly, supportive and actively promotes cross-project contributions.
Projects will be seen through their entire lifecycle, from initial customer discussions through development to supporting the production and manufacture phases.
You may have worked in the following capacities:
