We are recruiting a Night Support Worker to work alongside our wider housing team to support with the day-to-day operation of our residential accommodation project for young people aged sixteen to twenty-five. 
You will provide a reception service as well as routinely checking the whole project, and help to keep the project quiet, safe and secure throughout the night. You will need to monitor guests through signing in and out and refusing entry to anyone compromising the safety of the project or residents, and be able to provide an emergency response to young people in crisis.
You will need to be able to maintain accurate records of contact with residents, through recording onto a database, incident reporting forms, and safeguarding reporting

You must have experience working with young people, particularly those considered vulnerable or with multiple and complex needs, and be able to de-escalate volatile situations and to manage challenging behaviour appropriately.
You should have the ability to engage, motivate, inspire and empower young people; and will be required to juggle tasks to ensure the safe running of the project and safeguarding of residents.
The role involves working on a 4 shifts on, 4 shifts off rota pattern.
