Our Creative Industries School currently runs a Level 3, HNC/HND and BA (Hons) in Hair and Make up for Theatre, TV, Film, Fashion and Editorial. We are now looking for a dynamic, pro-active, highly organised and effective Lecturer that can cover all levels of this delivery. This is an exciting opportunity in a thriving and successful part of the provision.

With a keen and current understanding of industry, you will be able to support HE students develop higher level skills with a particular focus on period Hair and Make Up, Hair and Make Up for Film and TV, and Advanced Prosthetics.

Hardworking and flexible, the successful candidate will be educated to Degree level or have a professional qualification in an appropriate subject and have excellent teaching skills, recognised as a good or better teacher. With a strong commitment to equality and diversity, safeguarding, personalised learning and the provision of educational excellence, you will have experience of successfully monitoring and supporting “at-risk” learners to achieve or exceed their potential and be receptive to new ideas and initiatives, with a creative approach to problem solving.

This position is based at Kingston College.
