Warehouse Operative (Temp to Perm)

Contract Type: 6 months on a temporary basis with a view to becoming permanent

Salary: Basic salary £16,500.00.

Job Elements: -

·To select and pack warehouse stock to be delivered to customers

·Selecting parts from warehouse stock

·Packing, labelling and despatching to various destinations including the use of the computerised labelling system.

·Annual stock taking activities.

·Assisting with enquiries with regard to items that may have gone astray or not been delivered on time.

·Receipting of deliveries.

·Effective processing of warehouse parts with minimal delay to customer fault rectification.

The ideal candidate will have:

·Good organisation skills

·Logical and methodical approach and able to follow instructions

·Understand the importance of working in a safe manner and adhering to health and safety instructions

·Good communication skills

·Basic computer literacy

·Experience of working within a warehouse operation

·Experience of picking, packing and labelling parts

·Flexi Truck qualification

·Warehouse and Logistics qualification
