Our client based in Oundle is looking to recruit a full time Buyer to join them on a 12 month fixed term contract.
You will be required to build relationships with suppliers and manage their performance against SLA's, sourcing suppliers, conduct supplier reviews, negotiate with suppliers to achieve best value, resolve issues relating to supplier quality, invoices or delivery. The ability to work well under pressure is essential for this role.
To be considered for this role you will have at least 2 years buying experience within a manufacturing environment. You will have excellent communication skills and be fully conversant with MS Office.
Preference will be given to those who are CIPS qualified.
THIS IS A 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT
